BoomBridge Studios is run by Mats Eriksson - a drummer, producer, mixing and mastering engineer with 10+ years of experience in the trade. 
Mats started playing drums at the age of 7 with the love of Kiss and Iron Maiden as well as a bit of a push from his older brother because he wanted to start a band.
About 10 years later the brothers started the band that would become degreed and their musical journey began.

The interest of production first started taking shape when Mats went to Rytmus Musical Conservatory in Stockholm at the age of 17 when he took a class in recording techniques.
After attending the class the interest grew and after a while Mats was recording the demos for degreed and started recording stuff for friends and soon enough getting paid for recording, mixing and mastering. 

After school Mats still lived in Stockholm working as a musician and some odd jobs before he got the offer of buying a studio back in Kopparberg - the village he grew up in. 
So in 2017 he started, along with his little brother, BoomBridge Studios and ever since the start he's recorded, mixed and mastered several hundreds of songs in the studio. 

The studio is located close to the village of Kopparberg - close to nature and far from the city making it ideal for making and recording music without any distractions. 
Our philosophy is just that - getting away from your normal life to focus on music. What better way to do that surrounded by the lovely nature of Bergslagen? 
Of course we offer ackommodations in the studio as well.
